Rules of the Sauna

 Please abide by these recommendations: 


  • If you are thirsty get out, you didn't drink enough water.
  • Relax, reflect, listen to music, or read a book.


Please limit yourself to no more than 45 minutes. Do not smoke, exercise, eat, or drink beverages in the sauna room. Leave the sauna immediately if you experience any nausea, dizziness, hot flashes, cold chills, headaches or other discomfort. Drink plenty of fluids before and after leaving the sauna.

We want everyone to enjoy their experience at Shvaas Spa. If you have booked a session, we would like to recommend that all clients wear a bathing suit or shorts and sports bra, during their visits to the saunas.

An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna — "far" describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body.
